Let's put the daily sewage volumes into perspective that these BNR cities around the world are handling (and spilling to rivers and seas when overwhelmed). Note these 75 year BNR plants bacteria stop processing when the temperature drops below 5C so treatment days exponentially increased to 10-20 days holding sewage required in the plant aeration pond volumes:
Christchurch NZ: Daily 185 million litres ( 3 behemoth Lyttelton containerships volume daily). Winter likely need to store 3 container ships x 10 days supply = 30 container ships full of sewage over 10 days all to be stored somewhere within the CWTP ponds and pipes (before rain).

However, the Pines are planning a BNR expansion to 180,000 people, meaning it will need 1.5 x 6 days = 9 behemoth container ship aeration pond capacity (before rain)...630,000 tonnes or 630,000,000 litres on any one day sewage capacity (before rain).
